If your student is going to participate in activities with the Student ministry at Shenandoah Baptist Church, please fill out the “Medical Release Form” below and have them bring it to me.

The Student Ministry is working along with the Mission Council for the upcoming Spring Break Mission Trip on March 11-15. We will be going down to the McAllen area and working with Buckner to build a house. There will be several areas for students to serve from cooking, building and doing activities with local children as they are on spring break this week as well. The cost per personis $158, which covers lodging, food, travel and Buckner’s fee. The mission council is working on some sort of fundraiser to help bring this overall cost down. If your student would like to attend we need a $20 non refundable deposit ASAP. After that we have broken the remainder down to 2 payments: $50 due Feb 1st and final balance of $88 due March 1st. Sunday February 19th, there will be a spaghetti lunch served immediately after the Worship Service. The cost of the meal is a donation. After lunch we will have a dozen or so desserts that will be auctioned off. All proceeds raised go to help students offset some of the cost for attending events such as D-Now and camp.
Starting Fall 2011, we will be meeting at Clint & Jennifer Widmer’s on Sunday nights. We will begin at 6:00pm and go until 7:00pm.
