Pastor Jeff Moore, Senior Pastor

Jeff began serving as senior pastor of Shenandoah Baptist on December 24, 2017, after serving in a variety of ministry roles at prior churches such as pastor of Baptist Temple in Edna, TX; associate pastor of First Baptist in Monahans, TX; youth pastor of Towne North Baptist in Denton, TX; LifeTeam coach at CrossRidge Church in Little Elm, TX; youth pastor at First Baptist in Melissa, TX; and many other positions in his more than 29 years of active service to God in churches across Texas. Jeff is passionate about teaching the Word of God and equipping others to carry the Gospel into their community to help others connect with Jesus Christ. He received his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education degree from Baylor University in May 1996 and received his Master of Arts in Christian Education from SouthWestern Baptist Theological Seminary in December 2010.

His wife, Catherine, is Jeff’s most cherished blessing of God (outside salvation of course!) and he’s enjoyed their journey through life together since being wed on April 25, 1998. God blessed them with two children: Their son Nicholas is a freshman in the McLennan Community College (MCC) University Center program in Waco, TX, where he’ll receive his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tarleton State University after completing all four years at MCC. Their daughter Megan is a junior at Cedar Park High School where she is a flute in the band and very involved in the American Sign Language club.
Jeff’s love language is quality time so he enjoys traveling with his family to experience different parts of America; going for leisurely walks with his wife and children in their neighborhood; joining with other fans in cheering on his favorite teams (Baylor Bears, Houston Texans, Texas Rangers); and, of course, just hanging out with extended family and friends (preferably with a great cup of coffee in hand!).
